Gerald Edelman advises CloudRock on Growth Capital Partners investment

The partnership between GCP and CloudRock will support the business in continuing its growth in the UK and internationally

Gerald Edelman has announced that its Corporate Finance team has advised the shareholders of CloudRock Group Holdings Limited on an investment from Growth Capital Partners (GCP).

CloudRock, founded in 2017, is a global leader in client-side Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) advisory, implementation, and managed services, providing advice and support to global enterprises as they digitally transform their HR and finance functions.

With offices in London, Lisbon, Mumbai, Sydney, and New York, CloudRock is one of a small number of global Workday partners and has partnerships with other established ERP vendors, including ServiceNow, Oracle, and Dayforce.

The partnership between GCP and CloudRock will support the business in continuing its growth in the UK, expansion internationally, and further investment in CloudRock’s talent and its technology partnerships with best-in-class vendors.

Minos Ataliotis, founder and CEO at CloudRock, said: “We are excited to partner with a forward-thinking investor with a proven track record of success, who understands our sector and could clearly evidence how they would help CloudRock evolve to the next level.

“Together, we have outlined our ambition to rapidly scale and create a leading international transformation partner, as the largest independent advisory operating on a global basis in the HR and Finance space. We are all looking forward to working collaboratively with GCP as we embark on this exciting phase of growth.”

Ataliotis continued: “On behalf of the CloudRock team, I would like to thank the team at Gerald Edelman for their exceptional dedication and support throughout this process, which resulted in a fantastic deal for all parties. Their expertise was instrumental in navigating the complexities of this deal and their advice proved to be pivotal in its completion. We are immensely grateful for their support and would recommend them to any business considering a transaction!”

Nick Wallis, partner in the Gerald Edelman Corporate Finance team, added: “We are delighted to have advised on a fantastic deal for CloudRock’s shareholders. Working closely with Minos, Ani and the rest of the CloudRock team has been a true pleasure, and we are confident that, with GCP’s support, the business will continue to thrive.

“We understand the importance of finding the right partner to bring the team’s vision for the future to life, and we are confident that we have found that in GCP. This transaction marks another successful completion for the Gerald Edelman Corporate Finance team and our experience in the software consultancy sector continues to grow. We wish the CloudRock team continued success in the future.”
