MHA has appointed Ryan Swann as a new audit partner for the East Anglia region, based in Colchester. Andy Disley, a senior manager in the tax advisory team, specializes in international tax matters, particularly within property and sports industries. Meanwhile, Paul Clough, a former professional rugby league player, joins as a tax consultant, focusing on advising corporate and private clients across the North West. These appointments underscore MHA’s commitment to providing comprehensive tax advisory services and enhancing its client offerings in the region.

MHA MacIntyre Hudson has expanded its private wealth services through the acquisition of a majority stake in Cave and Sons, renaming it MHA Caves Wealth. This strategic move responds to increasing client demand for integrated private wealth services, combining wealth management with tax planning and advisory services. The partnership aims to provide a comprehensive and personalized wealth management offering, benefiting from MHA MacIntyre Hudson’s extensive network and expertise in private client services.

Moreover, MHA has entered the Scottish market through a merger with Aberdeen-based firm Meston Reid and Co. This merger marks MHA’s first venture into Scotland and is part of the firm’s growth strategy to expand its services nationally. All five partners from Meston Reid and Co will remain with MHA, ensuring continuity and enhancing services for clients in the North-East of Scotland. This strategic move strengthens MHA’s position in Scotland, allowing clients access to a broader range of specialists and international networks.
