SRLV

Who are SRLV?

Based in London’s West End, SRLV is a medium-sized, independent firm of chartered accountants and business advisors.

Founded as a two partner firm in 1988 by Richard Rosenberg and Laurence Finger, SRLV joined global advisory firm, ETL Global, in May 2019.

The group now operates with 19 partners and 131 professional and administrative staff members.

SRLV has grown to its current size through a mix of organic growth and strategic acquisitions, but claims that its “underlying passion and commitment to build strong client relationships” is at the centre of the brand.

Laurence Finger, managing partner and co-founder at SRLV, says: “Above all, we are a commercially-minded firm. We work closely, in partnership with our clients to help them succeed.”

Moreover, SRLV is a founding member of the International Accounting Association, which has connected mid-sized accounting and consulting firms for over 15 years.

What do they do?

Alongside its traditional accounting offering of services, SRLV acts as an advisor for individuals, owner-managed businesses, listed companies, and international entities.

More specifically, SRLV’s even key service lines break down into accountancy, business consulting, company secretarial, corporate, corporate finance, human resources, and tax planning.

The group works across eight industries, namely music, media and entertainment, advertising and design, hotels and travel, professional services, property and construction, restaurants and hospitality, retail, and sport.

Recent financials

SRLV’s turnover for the year ended 31 December 2019 was its first in its current LLP form since becoming a part of ETL Global in May 2019, meaning no direct comparisons can be made with previous financial years.

However, the group saw turnover for FY19 of £11m, and profits before tax during that period of £3.45m.

The firm’s net current assets as of 31 December 2019 sat at £5.5m, extending to £5.9m with total assets less liabilities.

In the news

SRLV’s most crucial piece of recent news was that of its 2019 ETL investment, which resulted in the group joining ETL while continuing to be led by its partners and maintaining its client relationships.

Richard Rosenberg, senior partner and co-founder at the company, said at the time: “This is an exciting time for SRLV. Our clients are always our main focus and this move allows us to continue to provide our unique service and expertise.

“This was the logical next step for our business and joining the ETL Group will bring SRLV exciting opportunities for further growth.”

Sara Brassington, managing director at ETL Global UK, said that the group was “excited” to back “such an experienced firm”.

She added: “We look forward to them joining us in our plans for continued UK expansion, and benefiting from our investment model and global network of expertise.”
