KPMG UK has appointed Hannah Dobson as its new head of FintechDobson was previously co-head of Fintech alongside John Hallsworth, who is retiring from the firm in July 2024. 

She first joined the Big Four firm in 2015, and in addition to leading its Fintech team she is a partner in KPMG’s indirect tax team.

Karim Haji, Global and UK head of Financial Services at KPMG, said: “I would like to congratulate Hannah on her promotion and thank John Hallsworth for all his achievements over his fifteen years with KPMG. Under Hannah and John’s tenure, our fintech team has overseen a 106% increase in fintech revenue with growth across all capabilities.”

Dobson added: “It is a privilege to take on this role and have the opportunity to contribute further to the future of UK fintech, which remains at the centre of European fintech investment. KPMG has world class expertise and talent in its fintech practice with an important role to play in helping the market to be the best it can be.”
