Moore merges with O’Byrne & Kennedy

As part of the merger, the Moore Northern Home Counties Enfield team will be relocating to OBK’s Goffs Oak office

Moore Northern Home Counties Limited, a member firm of accountancy network Moore UK, has completed its merger with Hertfordshire-based accountancy practice, O’Byrne and Kennedy (OBK).

As part of the merger, the Moore Northern Home Counties Enfield team will be relocating to OBK’s Goffs Oak office. The four-strong OBK team will join Moore, bringing the merged firm’s overall headcount to 52.

O’Byrne and Kennedy managing partner, Paul Kennedy, will stay with the merged firm as a consultant, providing specialist strategic planning and training services to clients of both practices.

Francis Corbishley, managing partner at Moore Northern Home Counties, said: “This is an exciting time for both firms.  Paul and the OBK team have a great reputation locally, and joining forces means we’re able to harness the strengths of both practices to provide a greater breadth of services to clients.

“Together we can continue to offer our clients a first-class service, as well as focusing on continued growth ahead.”

Kennedy added: “We’re delighted to be becoming part of the Moore family. We sought to merge with a firm with a similar philosophy to OBKs, and with a real commitment to both team and clients, and in Moore we’ve found the right match.   We will be a much stronger force together in the years ahead.”
