PwC has appointed Trusha Kachhela as the UK firm’s new head of legal business solutions from 1 July 2023.
Kachhela is a corporate tax partner at PwC and has been with the firm for almost 30 years, holding the position of central region tax leader since 2018.
She succeeds Teresa Owusu-Adjei, who has held the role of head of legal business solutions in the UK since 2021.
As head of legal, she will lead a legal business that comprises around 300 lawyers and other legal professionals in the UK and forms part of PwC’s multidisciplinary practice of services.
Owusu-Adjei has been appointed as PwC’s global tax and legal services clients and markets leader.
She will transition from the head of legal business solutions role to focus on the clients and markets strategy for PwC’s global tax, legal and people services.
Kachhela said: “I am delighted to be asked to lead our growing multidisciplinary legal services business. We have been successful across the legal business practice over the past few years, especially in our alternative delivery models for legal services, and I am looking forward to driving the next phase of our plans forward.
“Our aim remains to focus on those areas that complement the services PwC provides to give our clients holistic, innovative legal and business solutions to their issues. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Teresa for the outstanding contribution, and innovation she has made over the last two years as Head of Legal, and look forward to working with her as a key global partner in our wider legal business.”
