Driver Group plc, a consultancy service for construction and engineering industries, has announced that it has appointed Kreston Reeves LLP as the group’s new external auditor.

Kreston Reeves LLP will conduct the audit of the group’s financial statements for the financial period to 30 September 2022, with any proposal to re-appoint Kreston Reeves LLP regarding the financial year beginning 1 October 2022 will be subject to shareholder approval at the next annual general meeting.

The group’s former auditor, BDO LLP, has resigned and has confirmed that there are “no matters connected with its resignation which they consider need to be brought to the attention of the members or creditors of the group”.

The news comes after Kreston Reeves LLP announced it was awarded ‘Large Firm of the Year’ and ‘Tax Team of the Year’ awards at the Accounting Excellence Awards.
