Audit profession stands at ‘crossroad in fight for talent’, ACCA says
The survey highlighted that while audit firms are implementing initiatives to address concerns, the ‘persistence of the core issues signals the need for transformative change’.
Persistent challenges facing the auditing profession in its battle to attract and retain talent, has led to a decline in the number of individuals entering the profession, according to a survey conducted by accountancy bodies the ACCA and Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CA ANZ) which was supported by a series of global roundtables.
