Accountancy firm TC Group has entered the Scottish market through a merger with Alexander Sloan, one of Scotland’s longest-established accountancy practices.
The combined firm will trade as TC Alexander Sloan. Alexander Sloan, which has offices in Glasgow and Edinburgh, will continue to serve clients from its existing locations while gaining access to TC Group’s national network, resources and service range.
Founded more than 150 years ago, Alexander Sloan is known for its audit and assurance work and has built a long-standing client base across multiple sectors.
The merger combines its regional expertise with TC Group’s national reach and broader service offering.
Allison Devine, senior partner at Alexander Sloan, said: “We are excited to be the first Scottish firm to join TC Group. This is a positive step that allows us to grow and enhance our services while continuing to operate as the same locally managed, client-focused team our clients know and trust.”
Shiv Shah, chief growth officer at TC Group, added: “Their long-standing reputation for excellence and client dedication makes Alexander Sloan a strong addition to our national network. This merger reinforces our commitment to combining local expertise with national strength to support businesses across the UK.”
