Ballards has launched a brand refresh and a new Birmingham office, transitioning from a traditional accountancy firm into a multidisciplinary business advisory and consultancy group.
This has resulted in increased demand for strategic, tech-enabled advisory services, a growing focus on employer brand credibility, client expectations for integrated services delivered at pace, and a widening gap between boutique advisory firms and large national players.
The group structure now formalises a “house of brands” model, incorporating specialist subsidiaries such as CreativeFolks and Four Squared Recruitment.
This move follows the opening of a new office on Colmore Row in Birmingham to increase the firm’s presence within the regional corporate finance and investment sector.
The firm has also completed a refurbishment of its flagship Worcester office to align with the updated visual identity and corporate colours.
The firm stated that the expansion aligns with its strengthening of its corporate finance and audit practices and aims to leverage its new Birmingham base to access the Midlands’ dealmaking ecosystem while maintaining its established client base in Worcestershire.
James Syree, CEO of Ballards, said: “Clients don’t just want accountants anymore. They want advisers who combine insight with agility, people who know their business deeply and act quickly. That’s the essence of our refreshed brand. The world is changing, and so are we. We’ve kept the trusted Ballards name, but everything around it is now sharper, smarter, and built for tomorrow.
“We are creating careers, not jobs. Our people grow with us, and our clients benefit from the continuity, commitment, and deep knowledge that only a long-term, independent firm can deliver.”
