Ballards has appointed private client tax partner Tim Lynch to its senior advisory team, following a period of growth for the firm across Worcestershire and Birmingham.

Lynch joins the firm with 25 years of experience in professional practice. He previously spent 19 years at a top 10 firm in the UK.

The new partner is a chartered tax adviser and chartered certified accountant. He specialises in tax compliance for individuals, families, and complex ownership structures.

Ballards has expanded over the last 15 years into a multidisciplinary group. It now employs more than 150 people across offices in Worcester, Droitwich, and Birmingham.

The firm operates a partner-led model and collaborates with banks and solicitors. This appointment is intended to support the delivery of joined-up advice for clients.

Lynch said: “I am delighted to be joining Ballards at this really exciting time for the firm. Our values are aligned in being agile and in building deep relationships with clients, enabling us to deliver proactive and tailored advice that truly meets their objectives.

His appointment further anchors Ballards as the go to advisory firm in the West Midlands.”
