S&W has announced the appointment of Graham Charlton as a partner in its private client tax services team, strengthening its presence in Bristol and the wider Midlands.
Charlton, who will be based in Bristol, will also support clients across Birmingham and the surrounding region.
The appointment comes as the professional services group continues to expand its private client offering.
He brings more than 20 years of experience in the profession, having previously held senior roles at KPMG, PwC and Bishop Fleming. His work has focused on personal and capital taxes, with particular experience advising private equity-backed businesses on transactions and longer-term tax planning.
Charlton said: “I’m excited to join S and W and work closely with clients to help them achieve their goals. My focus will be on guiding them through complex transactions and strategic planning, ensuring they have the clarity and confidence to make informed decisions.”
