Professional services group S&W has appointed Liliana Solomon as chief financial officer as the firm continues to pursue its growth strategy following its separation from Evelyn Partners.

Solomon joins S&W with extensive experience in financial leadership roles across international, private equity-backed and regulated businesses.

She most recently served as group chief financial officer at Waystone and previously spent five years as group CFO at Awaze.

She has also held a number of non-executive positions, including roles at Omio, formerly known as GoEuro, Metro Cash and Carry and Trustly.

Solomon succeeds Andrew Baddeley, who will retire from the business in September after helping steer the company through a significant period of change.

The transition will take place over the coming months, with Solomon and Baddeley working closely together to ensure a smooth handover of responsibilities before his departure.

Andrew Wilkes, S&W chief executive, said: “I am delighted to welcome Liliana to S&W and look forward to the experience and leadership she brings as we continue to build and grow S&W. Her background reflects deep expertise working with fast-growing organisations.

“I would also like to thank Andrew Baddeley for his considerable contribution during a pivotal period for the firm.”

Solomon added: “With a strong platform in place and clear backing for further expansion, the firm is well positioned to scale and evolve,” she said. “I look forward to working with Andrew Wilkes and the rest of the executive team to help realise the firm’s growth ambitions.”
