Moore Kingston Smith, the multi-disciplinary advisory, tax and audit firm, has appointed Melanie Reed as head of Advisory within its senior leadership team.
It said the new role will further enhance the client experience through Reed’s focus on consistently delivering streamlined, tailored, joined-up professional advice.
Reed will lead the integration and cohesive delivery of the firm’s diverse advisory offerings, including corporate finance, legal, restructuring and insolvency, wealth management, forensics, valuations, HR consultancy, business growth and cyber security services. She also continues to specialise in providing M&A tax advice, particularly for clients in the media sector.
Reed brings over two decades of experience to this role. Beginning her career in tax at 18, she went on to spend 12 years at Grant Thornton before leading the national corporate tax practice at RSM.
Having joined Moore Kingston Smith in 2021, it said her “extensive background” in top 10 firms and her collaborative work with diverse teams provide her with a deep understanding of the professional services landscape.
Matt Meadows, managing partner of Moore Kingston Smith, said: “Melanie’s leadership will be instrumental in formalising our cohesive advisory approach, ensuring we continue delivering exceptional value and innovative solutions to our clients as their needs evolve.”
