RSM UK has announced the appointment of Joanne Webber as its new office manager partner in Bristol

Webber is a tax partner and leads the national global employer services team at RSM. She has over 21 years of experience working with organisations on global mobility and global people issues, and joined RSM seven years ago having previously held roles at Big Four firms.

She is a specialist in advising companies on the challenges associated with having an internationally mobile workforce, including global workforce management and strategy, global tax and social security compliance, and tax policies.

Throughout her career, she has worked on a diverse portfolio of clients, including the manufacturing and technology sectors. She has a large corporate focus, mostly consisting of multinational groups.

As office managing partner, she will focus on further strengthening the RSM brand in the local marketplace, whilst driving forward the strong momentum and team culture for the 240 employees in Bristol. She will succeed Kate Reid who held the role for ten years and has retired from the firm.

Regarding her appointment, Webber said: “Taking on the office managing partner role in Bristol is a big milestone in my RSM career, and a real honour. I’m looking forward to acting as an ambassador for our business, and importantly, collaborating with colleagues to continue to build a sense of community here at RSM and with the wider region.

“Thanks to Kate’s leadership over the last decade, the Bristol office has already seen significant growth during this time, so I’m excited to extend our market presence further to benefit our clients.”

Paul Anthony, regional managing partner in the South at RSM UK, added: “Joanne has done a brilliant job at driving forward our national global employer services team. She understands what businesses and their people need which is valuable experience to take into the managing partner role.

“I look forward to supporting Joanne through this next phase of her career as we continue to expand regionally.”
