Registered company insolvencies up 17% in February
Numbers of compulsory liquidations have increased from historical lows seen during the pandemic, partly as a result of an increase in winding-up petitions presented by HMRC
This February saw the number of registered company insolvencies rise to 1,783, a 17% jump from the 1,518 recorded in the same month last year, according to the latest government statistics.
