A recent survey conducted by AVN Inspiring Accountants has found that 45% of UK accountants can’t sleep due to worries about work.

These statistics show a grim reality for the accountancy profession, with many facing significant challenges regarding their businesses, income and family life.

Out of 1,034 accountants, 84% said that they aren’t certain about the fees they are charging their clients while 74% reported they are not happy with their current salary.

Work-life balance seems to be another area of concern, with 66% of participants admitting that they would like to spend more time with friends and family.

Shane Lucas, AVN’s managing director, founded The Accountants KnowHow Club, a new platform providing business skills training specifically for accountants.

Working with accountants, Lucas knows the challenges they are currently facing.

He said: “They’re crying out for support and training to help them gain the skills they need to take control of their business and their lives. That’s why we created The Accountants KnowHow Club. It provides step-by-step guidance on growth strategies, pricing, marketing, and other areas where accountants are struggling.

“Our mission is to help accountants overcome these issues and deliver the best possible service to their clients.”
