PKF Francis Clark has announced the appointments of several new team members to its corporate finance team in Bristol.
Nathan Holland joined the firm from EY as a manager in the transaction services team headed by director Sam Phillips, who is also said to have worked at the Big 4 firm before moving to PKF Francis Clark in 2020.
In addition, associates Adam Keelty, who has joined from Deloitte in Bristol, and Chris Harper, formerly of BDO, have also come on board to work on due diligence projects, mergers and acquisitions.
Tax partner Nicola Manclark will reportedly be working closely with the firm’s corporate finance team. She recently joined the legal sector, having previously worked in KPMG’s corporate tax advisory team in Bristol. Manclark brings 20 years’ experience of advising corporate clients on the sale of companies and real estate.
These appointments are said to follow “a record year” for PKF Francis Clark’s corporate finance team, which saw over £750m worth of deals completed out of its Bristol office alone.
Andrew Killick, head of corporate finance, said: “It’s very pleasing to be attracting up-and-coming talent from other firms in such a competitive marketplace, as we invest in growing our team to meet the increasing demand we’re seeing in the Bristol market for a full range of advisory services, including transaction support.
“We’re helping ambitious businesses to identify opportunities and make deals happen, as corporations, alternative finance and private equity still have huge amounts of capital to deploy.”
He added: “The volume and variety of transactions we’re working on enables us to offer attractive career development opportunities, coupled with flexible hybrid working and a collaborative culture, to both new recruits and our existing team.”
