Accountancy and finance firm Jerroms has acquired Price Pearson as part of its strategy to expand its presence across the Midlands.
The deal, which brings the Price Pearson team into the Jerroms Group, adds further expertise in accounting, audit, tax and business advisory services.
It forms part of Jerroms’ wider growth plan following its integration into the Sumer Group last year.
Mark Eden, managing director of Jerroms Group, said the acquisition aligned closely with the firm’s values and ambitions.
Founded in 1970, Price Pearson has long served clients across the West Midlands. Jerroms became part of the Sumer Group in 2023, joining a network of regional accountancy firms that combine local expertise with national scale.
Jerroms was advised by Vialex, while Price Pearson was advised by Hawkins Hatton Corporate Lawyers.
Eden said: “This acquisition is a natural fit for Jerroms. Price Pearson shares our values, ambition and client-first approach. Together, we’re positioned better than ever to support businesses across the Midlands with the insight and agility they need to thrive.”
“This exciting move grows the team to over 200 professionals and significantly broadens our service offering, enhancing our ability to deliver tailored support and meet the evolving needs of our clients.”
Rachel Common, director of Price Pearson, added: “We’re absolutely delighted to be joining forces with a firm that not only shares our values, but also our unwavering commitment to exceptional client service.
“This merger marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter, one that allows us to continue delivering the high-quality advice our clients rely on, while unlocking fresh opportunities, broader expertise, and innovative solutions to help them thrive in a rapidly evolving business landscape.”
Chris Casey, Jerroms director, concluded: “This partnership strengthens our long-standing commitment to the Black Country’s thriving business community.
“The region is home to a diverse network of SMEs, and this strategic move allows us to expand our capabilities and deliver even greater support where it’s needed most. We’re excited to welcome the Price Pearson team into Jerroms and look forward to working together to provide exceptional service and value to our clients.”
