FRP has launched its forensic services offering in Scotland, beginning the rollout with a seminar in Edinburgh aimed at legal, regulatory and investigative professionals.

The inaugural event, held at The Hoxton, explored how digital tools and emerging technologies are reshaping investigative work, from corporate disputes and white-collar crime to employment matters.

Attendees were given practical guidance on spotting fraudulent signatures, identifying fake documents and using technology in complex investigations.

The programme is being led by forensic services partners Alison Hollywood and Sinead O’Neill, who oversee FRP’s forensic practice across Scotland and Northern Ireland

They are supported by the firm’s national forensic team of about 50 specialists.

Hollywood said: “Having worked in the Scottish market for many years, I’m delighted to officially launch our dedicated forensic services offering here. We’re committed to building a team who can support clients on the ground, with the full backing of our 50-strong forensic services team across the UK.

“That combination of local accessibility and national expertise sets us apart – whether it’s claims advisory, expert witness work or complex investigations, clients in Scotland now have direct access to specialists who understand their market.”

Callum Carmichael, restructuring advisory partner, added: “The Scottish team were pleased to host the inaugural Scottish forensics event with Alison and Sinead demonstrating our breadth of expertise and encouraging the market to look beyond the numbers. The event was well received, and we will be working with the forensics team to further develop our respective networks in the professional community.”
