Mazars appoints new partner in its Audit Quality team

Paul Winrow has over 26 years’ experience of audit and assurance with a range of accounting firms

Mazars, the international audit, tax and advisory firm, has appointed Paul Winrow as a partner in its Audit Quality team.

Winrow joins from MHA MacIntyre Hudson. He will lead the development of Mazars’ audit methodology in an “increasingly demanding” regulatory environment. In addition, he will support the firm’s leadership on audit policy matters as the firm continues to lead the debate in favour of meaningful market reform.

Winrow has over 26 years’ experience of audit and assurance with a range of accounting firms. He has deep expertise in auditing standards, audit methodology, audit quality and ethics. He is a member of a number of UK and international bodies including the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW).

It added he will draw on his “extensive experience” of managing and building diverse teams, and will be instrumental in guiding Mazars’ on its Audit Quality journey.
