This is also complimented by Peter Williams, corporate finance partner, being named as the national head of corporate finance for the wider UHY Hacker Young group.

Overall, the firm has strengthened its team with 13 new hires so far in 2022. The expansion of UHY Hacker Young’s Manchester office is reportedly in support of the group’s overall national growth strategy to create further opportunity for promotion and internal staff development.

Williams said: “I am delighted to be appointed national head of corporate finance for UHY Hacker Young and look forward to working with the wider national team to further enhance our corporate finance offering.

“Transactions are increasingly involving international parties and we are also keen to build on relationships with our international UHY colleagues and connections to offer our clients a worldwide market. I very much see this role as a continuation of the fantastic work done by the UHY network in helping our clients prosper.”

David Kendrick, partner at UHY Hacker Young Manchester, added: “2021 was a fantastic year for the business and has given us a solid foundation to further build from. We are in the final stages of finalising our 5five-year plan, which will see the business double, giving the opportunity for further progression for the great team we have.

“The recent promotions are very much well deserved and shows our commitment to recognising individuals’ efforts.”
