AIMS Accountants has opened four new offices since the turn of the decade as part of its  “ambitious growth plans”.

The firm said the new offices in Birmingham and Romsey highlight an “impressive start to 2020”, and added they are the “first of many” planned for this year.

AIMS’ support team also grew “considerably” at the back end of last year in order to be able to provide the same level of assistance to all new offices. It also announced the appointment of Sten Varik to its technical support team. Daryl Green has also joined the business in order to assist potential new franchisees with the onboarding process.

David Vasey has also joined the AIMS team from Nomura International as COO, to assist with the expansion plans and to ensure that the level of support and service provided to each accountant can “remain at its high levels”.

A spokesperson said: “We have ambitious plans to grow AIMS over the next few years. More and more people are looking at franchising as a way of taking control of their career, and AIMS provides them with the platform, skills and support to do so.

“Our AIMS offices serve almost 30,000 clients across the UK, providing valuable accountancy services to them, and we are keen to grow this number, and continue to support UK small businesses.”
