News of the promotions follow a period of growth for the firm, which aims to be recognised as top 20 accountancy and advisory businesses.
Corporate finance partner Rob Wilson, indirect tax partner Ian Brown, audit partner Brian Thomson, and tax partner Ellen Feetum are among those promoted.
In the Midlands, Elliot Bonomini becomes forensic director, Matt Norris is audit director, and Rachael Dagger is ESG director. In Scotland, the firm appointed Andrew McKay as audit director and Laura Nicoll as accounting and business advisory director.
The firm stated the investment underlines a commitment to supporting clients with complex financial and strategic needs. The appointments strengthen the leadership team across key regions including Scotland, the Midlands, and the North West.

“As we continue to expand, it is vital that we invest in our people, ensuring we have the capability and expertise to support our clients and deliver high-quality advice across all of our service lines.”
Androulla Soteri, chief people officer of Dains, added: “Creating opportunities for progression is central to our culture. These promotions recognise not only strong performance, but also the attitude, commitment and impact our people bring to their teams and to our clients every day.
“It is fantastic to see so many colleagues taking the next step in their careers as we continue to grow as a business.”
