Accountants Plus has announced the opening of a new headquarters office in Motherwell, following a period of growth where annual fee income rose from £750k to £3m in 2026.

The firm’s new 18,000 sq ft office building on Airbles Road also opens as the practice marks 25 years in business.

Senior partner Bryan Wood founded the firm as a one-person practice in 2001. Accountants Plus now employs more than 35 members of staff and serves 1,000 clients.

The three-storey site was developed under a five-year transformation plan. Management expects turnover to reach £4m in 2027 as the firm expands its advisory services.

Accountants Plus occupies the 6,000 sq ft second floor. The building also houses independent financial advisers AP Wealth, insolvency specialists Robb Advisory, and BC Technologies.

The firm created a private gym on the ground floor for staff and tenants. Two units on the ground floor are let, while a 1,650 sq ft unit remains available.

The 6,000 sq ft first floor is currently vacant. The firm intends to occupy this space in the medium term to accommodate the expansion of its audit team.

Wood said: “This building is a milestone, not a starting point. It is a tangible marker of the progress we have made since our founding in 2001 and a clear signal of where Accountants Plus is going.

“Our growth has been driven by trusted client relationships, broadening technical capability and consistently high standards. The new headquarters gives us the space, flexibility and profile needed to continue delivering that success over the long term.”

He added: “We see this building as a destination for professional excellence. Alongside accommodating our own growth, we are pleased to offer high-quality space to businesses that share similar values and standards, creating a genuinely collaborative professional environment.”
