Xeinadin has expanded its Liverpool-based tax team with the appointment of Carolyn O’Shea as VAT and Indirect Taxes senior manager.

Based in Xeinadin’s growing Liverpool office in the North West hub, O’Shea’s appointment marks the further expansion of the firm’s UK VAT Advisory team.

O’Shea brings over 10 years’ of VAT experience, having previously worked for HMRC and in advisory roles in professional practice.

She has worked across numerous industry sectors, advising clients on projects ranging from the sale and purchase of businesses, HMRC compliance checks, VAT liability issues, partial exemption and land and property transactions.

In her new role she will provide “on the ground” VAT specialist support, expanding Xeinadin’s dedicated VAT services for clients across the UK.

Liz Maher, head of VAT at Xeinadin, said: “It is a pleasure to have Carolyn join our growing VAT Advisory team. She has a proven track record of delivering value and “on the ground” VAT support to clients across the North of England.
