Lovewell Blake has announced it has taken on 20 new trainees across its Norfolk and Suffolk offices as part of its annual recruitment drive.

The intake includes school and college leavers, graduates and interns. All begin professional qualifications from the start of their training, with study paths tailored to their entry level.

Trainees joining from school or college will work towards the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) qualification, while graduates will study for the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW). Staff who complete AAT can also progress onto the ICAEW route.

Those starting in the firm’s tax teams will pursue qualifications with the Association of Taxation Technicians (ATT), which can lead to becoming a Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA).

Lovewell Blake is one of 16 firms in the Eastern region recognised as a ‘Gold Best Employer’ in the Best Employers survey.

Simon Watson, senior partner at Lovewell Blake, said: “It is always a highlight of our year to welcome the new cohort of trainees as they embark on their career in accountancy.

“As a firm we are committed to training the next generation of professionals. We are proud of how we nurture talent from the very start of someone’s career to the highest level: 83% of our partners and managers have been promoted internally, and it may well be that we have future senior Lovewell Blake people amongst this year’s group of trainees.”

He added: “I wish all of our new entrants every success, and look forward to watching them achieve qualifications, and progress in their careers.”

Applications for the firm’s 2026 trainee intake will open in the autumn for graduates as well as school and college leavers.
