Deloitte has appointed Zoe Watters as a partner to strengthen its real estate and infrastructure practice in the North West

Watters joins the firm from PwC, where she served as a partner within the infrastructure team.

Watters previously worked in the civil service and has experience managing large-scale public sector projects.

Her expertise includes social infrastructure and public-private partnerships, having advised on the opening of new hospitals and transport schemes.

The new partner will be based at Deloitte’s Manchester office at 100 Embankment. The regional team currently comprises more than 1,600 employees and provides support to mayoral authorities on healthcare and devolved government models.

Watters said: “With a renewed focus on large-scale infrastructure projects across the UK, coupled with more powers being devolved to mayoral authorities beyond housing and development, I’m joining Deloitte at a crucial time for the sector.

“As ever, it’s so important that the public sector has the right advice and support to deliver projects, uplift communities and contribute to regional economies. Deloitte’s infrastructure team has a strong record of advising on high-profile projects so I’m looking forward to bringing my experience and expertise to the firm.”

Jo Ahmed, practice senior partner for Deloitte in the North West, added: “Zoe’s experience and track record will strengthen our regional and national infrastructure offering. Manchester’s development pipeline remains robust, and Zoe is well placed to advise on major projects that will help shape and deliver future infrastructure developments in the city region.”
