The TaxAssist Group has promoted two senior managers to board-level roles as part of what it described as its long-term growth plans.
Richard Washington has been appointed director of group technology, while Kelly Chick has been promoted to director of group brand and marketing. Both were previously heads of their respective functions.
Washington has led the group’s technology operations, while Chick has been responsible for brand and marketing across the business. Their promotions take effect immediately.
TaxAssist Accountants operates a nationwide network providing tax and accountancy services to small and medium-sized businesses and individual taxpayers. The network has more than 400 offices and supports more than 100,000 clients.
Daren Moore, group chief executive, said: “The TaxAssist Group has ambitious plans for growth over the coming years, across our franchise network, group-owned practices and complementary businesses. To support this, we are strengthening our leadership team by promoting Richard and Kelly, whose expertise in technology, IT, marketing and brand will be critical in delivering a number of key group projects.
