Beavis Morgan has appointed corporate tax specialist Tim Shaw as a partner, strengthening its tax advisory offering.

Shaw joined the firm on 5 January 2026 and brings more than 30 years’ experience advising owner-managed businesses, multinational groups, inward investors and high-net-worth individuals.

He is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.

His experience spans corporate reconstructions and demergers, section 110 liquidations, transfer pricing, cross-border transactions, mergers and acquisitions tax support, share schemes and family company planning.

He has previously also held partner roles at Blick Rothenberg and Ensors Accountants.

Additionally, Shaw held senior in-house tax leadership positions at AT and T UK and Viatel, where he was responsible for European tax compliance, structuring and transfer pricing.

In his new role, Shaw will work closely with teams across the wider Beavis Morgan Group, including Moorfields Advisory, Cadence Advisory, BM Connect and Techn22.

According to Beavis Morgan, the appointment would add depth to its corporate tax proposition, particularly in areas such as share scheme design, capital allowances, tax due diligence and fund extraction.

Barrie Dunning, head of tax at Beavis Morgan, said: “Tim’s breadth of experience, technical expertise and commercial approach align strongly with our commitment to delivering high-quality tax advice to entrepreneurial and fast-growing businesses.”

Shaw added: “Beavis Morgan has a strong reputation across corporate and personal tax, and I’m looking forward to helping drive continued growth while supporting clients through complex planning and transactions.”
