Interpath has appointed David Walker as managing director to lead its digital transformation team in the UK, as the advisory firm expands its financial services and data and technology offering.
Walker has more than 20 years’ experience delivering technology and business transformation programmes across multiple sectors, with a particular focus on financial services. He has previously worked at Accenture, Barclays, UBS and KPMG.
At Interpath, Walker will be responsible for developing the firm’s digital transformation proposition, supporting clients across areas including deals, restructuring, value creation and forensic services.
The firm said the team would advise on technology due diligence, data migrations, integrations and separations, as well as cost transformation and system implementation projects.
Nick Parkhouse, global head of financial services at Interpath, said: “We can now offer clients an integrated advisory capability spanning restructuring, M&A, capital and debt advisory, diligence, financial modelling and now technology consulting.”
Walker added: “I’ve got to know Interpath since its launch in 2021 and watched its accelerated growth with great interest so I’m delighted to be joining to help develop its technology offerings to support the broad growth agenda and financial services specifically.”
