Sidcup-based accountancy firm McBrides has announced the senior promotions of Andy Fuller and Darshika Baleswaran as director and manager, respectively.

The news comes as McBridges has experienced growth within its tax team and outsourcing departments.

Having joined McBrides’ in 2015, Fuller has become a director in the firm’s outsourced business services department, which will see him lead the team’s offering that supports clients with bookkeeping, Xero integration and management reporting, among others.

Meanwhile, Baleswaran has been made a manager in its growing tax department, who will spearhead the accounts and advisory team in the same department.

A qualified tax adviser, she specialises in advising private clients on all issues relating to their personal taxes and helps to develop our tax trainees. Baleswaran joined McBrides in October 2021 from City firm Greenback Alan.

Both hold responsibilities for training and developing their respective teams and will report directly to partner Andy Carey.

Tanya Hamilton, managing partner of McBrides Chartered Accountants, said: “I’m delighted to announce Andy and Darshika’s promotions today. It’s great to be able to grow our business through internal promotions and help our people to build their careers here at McBrides.

“Their appointments will help to boost delivery of our client services and support their relevant partners too. I wish Andy and Darshika every success in growing their teams and helping McBrides to meet client demand.”
