One Four Nine Group appoints CFO

Goulding joins from listed wealth management firm Kingswood where he held the position of group CFO

The One Four Nine Group, the independent financial advice and fund management firm, has appointed Patrick Goulding to the position of chief financial officer (CFO).

In his new role, Goulding will work closely with the group’s chief executive officer, Matthew Bugden, and the entire executive team to progress the business’ growth plans.

Goulding is a chartered accountant and he joins from listed wealth management firm Kingswood where he most recently held the position of group CFO.

He brings 30 years of experience in financial services across wealth and fund management, real-estate and investment banking at firms including Morgan Stanley and Schroders.

Throughout his career, Goulding has managed acquisitions, secured external funding and overseen the restructure and integration of disparate business functions. The One Four Nine Group said that Goulding’s addition to its leadership team is a “natural fit”.

Bugden said: “We have worked tirelessly to build a modern and dynamic environment to drive success, so it was important to me to appoint a chief financial officer who is equally motivated to grow the business with us.

“Welcoming someone of Patrick’s calibre is a testament to the professionalism and quality embedded within the entire One Four Nine Group. He complements our existing leadership team and with our strong pipeline of organic growth and acquisition opportunities I am looking forward to everything we will achieve together.”

Goulding added: “I am delighted at the opportunity to join such an entrepreneurial and energetic firm at an early stage in its journey and relish the chance to contribute to the long-term success of the business, its adviser community and, ultimately, its clients.”
