Ideagen PLC, a supplier of information management software, has announced the appointment of KPMG as its new external auditor with effect from 27 October 2021.

KPMG will take over the role from RSM who has held the position for the past 11 years.

The Big Four firm was appointed after RSM reportedly “did not participate” in the competitive tender process led by the group’s audit and risk committee.

As a result, RSM will cease to hold office at the end of their term when KPMG subsequently takes over.

The company said: “Ideagen wishes to express its appreciation and gratitude to RSM for its service over the last eleven years.”
