Tyman has announced that the board has approved the appointment of Deloitte as its new group auditor for the financial year ending 31 December 2022, replacing the services of PwC.

The company is an international supplier of engineered fenestration components and access solutions to the construction industry.

The new appointment follows the conclusion of the planned competitive tender process led by the group’s audit and risk committee.

PwC, which was first appointed as the group’s auditor in December 2011, took part in the tender process and will undertake the audit of the financial statements for the financial year ending 31 December 2021 but will resign immediately after the conclusion of that work.

The board extended its “appreciation and gratitude” to PwC for its services to the group over many years, and also to the other firms that participated in the audit tender process.
