Ernst and Young (EY)  will replace Deloitte as the external auditor for CLS Holdings plc, a property investment company.

In a letter to investors, CLS confirmed that its board had approved the appointment of EY as its new external auditor for the year ending 31 December 2022.

Deloitte, which served the role for 15 years, will complete the audit for the current financial year ending 31 December 2021, and EY will be appointed “immediately” following the signing of the financial statements for the year.

Bill Holland, chair of the CLS audit committee, said: “The board would like to thank Deloitte LLP for their work as auditor over the last 15 years.

“Subject to shareholder approval at the 2022 AGM, we look forward to working with EY in the future and building a similar relationship.”
