Dains Accountants has announced the appointment of Remy Lammertsma as its new chief financial officer, following a period of growth supported by private equity investment from IK Partners.
The firm now employs more than 1,000 professionals, and has recently named Fiona McSwein its new chief client officer.
Lammertsma joins with more than 20 years of management experience, having previously served as chief financial officer at Expereo, a technology business based in Amsterdam. During his tenure, he managed the company’s mergers and acquisitions strategy and reporting capabilities.
He began his career at Orange Business where he was credited with managing central and regional finance functions across the UK, Europe, and Asia-Pacific.
Richard McNeilly, chief executive of Dains, said: “As Dains continues to grow and evolve, we’ve remained focused on strengthening our capabilities, integrating further across the group and investing in the right leadership in place to support long-term growth.
“Remy brings extensive international experience in scaling finance functions and driving growth in private equity-backed environments. His expertise will be critical as we continue to grow and strengthen the financial foundations of the group.”
Lammertsma added: “Dains has built a strong platform with clear strategic direction and an ambition that really stands out. The group has grown significantly in recent years, and there is a real opportunity to build on that momentum.
“My priority will be to ensure we have the financial insight to support sustainable, scalable growth. I’m delighted to be joining at such an exciting point in the journey and look forward to working with teams across the group.”
