Dains has appointed Natalie Brown as regional finance director for the Midlands to oversee financial performance, budgeting, and the integration of newly acquired regional firms.

Brown joined the Dains Group following its acquisition of Isosceles Finance in September 2022, where she spent over a decade in the outsourced finance team supporting SMEs.

She qualified as an ACCA accountant in 2016 and was promoted to account director in 2023.

In her new role, she will work alongside regional managing partner Mark Tuckwell and the group CFO to manage financial reporting and data-led decision-making across the Midlands operations.

Brown is also tasked with leading the regional finance team and ensuring consistent reporting standards as new firms are integrated into the group structure.

Her remit includes strengthening governance processes and providing financial oversight to partners during the firm’s ongoing scaling phase.

Brown said: “I am stepping into this role for the Midlands region. Having grown within the business, I’ve seen the impact that financial visibility and collaboration can have on performance. I am looking forward to working with our partners and finance team to support growth, integration of new acquisitions, and long-term success across the region.”

Remy Lammertsma, chief financial officer at Dains, added: “Natalie brings a combination of technical expertise and commercial understanding to the role. She has a track record of supporting growing SMEs and leadership teams with financial insight. As we continue to support our teams in the Midlands, her leadership will be instrumental in ensuring we maintain financial governance while enabling data-led decisions at every level.”
