RCK Partners has announced the appointment of industry consultant Paul Rosser to strengthen its research and development software consulting division, following increased market demand for technical advice regarding R&D tax incentives.
In his new role, Rosser will focus on software-related claims while representing the London-based firm across the wider tax market.
He previously founded R&D Consulting and has spent 20 years working across information technology, digital forensics, and tax relief sectors.
Sophie Spells, group chief executive of RCK Partners, said: “I’ve known Paul for a while now, and his extensive experience and reputation in the R&D space struck me as a standout from the beginning. We initially began discussing the R&D tax credit scheme and the broader advisory landscape, and over time recognised strong alignment that has led to this partnership.
“Paul’s focus on technical precision and doing the right thing for clients aligns closely with how we work at RCK, and we’re delighted to be working with him as we continue to support innovative businesses in claiming R&D tax credits.”
Rosser added: “At a time when scrutiny of R&D claims is increasing, it’s more important than ever to work with firms that put compliance first and foremost. After speaking with Sophie, it became very apparent that R&D claim compliance is RCK’s number one priority. This, combined with the opportunity to support larger, more complex clients, made this a clear decision for me.
“I look forward to working with RCK alongside continuing to work for my current firm, R&D Consulting, as well as the ongoing investigative and reporting work I do.”
