Accountancy and advisory firm MHA has promoted Laura Farrow to partner in its Cardiff office.

The move is intended to strengthen the firm’s leadership in the region as it expands its operations across Wales.

Farrow has nearly 25 years of audit experience, including 18 years with the former MHA member firm Broomfield and Alexander.

She is an ICAEW-accredited chartered accountant with expertise in advising UK subsidiaries of international groups.

The new partner specialises in supporting small and medium-sized businesses in South and West Wales.

Her sector experience includes construction, retail, transport, logistics, technology, and manufacturing.

MHA is the UK member of Baker Tilly International and has reported significant growth in the Welsh market in recent years.

The firm stated that the promotion is a key part of its strategy to invest in regional leadership.

James Dobson, partner at MHA, said: “MHA has seen incredible growth in Wales over recent years. In order to sustain our growth and provide clients with the best service possible, we must invest in the leadership of our Wales offices. Laura’s promotion to partner is a key part of that strategy, strengthening our client relationships and supporting the continued expansion of our client base.”

Farrow added: “MHA is one of the fastest growing accountancy and advisory firms in Wales, and that success has been built on the strength of our client relationships and the quality of advice we deliver. I’m looking forward to working with the audit team in Wales in my new leadership capacity to contribute to this continued strong growth.”
