Interpath has appointed eight new managing directors across its UK, French, and Irish divisions as part of the firm’s largest ever internal promotion round.

The promotions include Ataé El Ghouali and Stéphanie Durand in debt advisory, and Isabelle Alvernhe in treasury and cash management, all based in France.

In the UK, Sarah Balsom and Thomas Swiers have been elevated to managing director within the restructuring practice, while Noah Ojetola joins the leadership team as a valuations specialist.

Meanwhile, Kirstie O’Flanagan has been appointed to lead the transaction services practice in Ireland, and Lauren Goodenough takes over the tech and growth offering in France.

The expansion of the senior leadership team follows a period of financial growth and the announcement of a majority stake acquisition by Bridgepoint in early 2026.

The newly appointed managing directors bring experience in specialised fields including asset-backed securitisation, SaaS business models, and corporate treasury digital transformation.

Ojetola has previously acted as a valuation expert on high-profile restructuring projects, such as Southern Water’s Scheme of Arrangement.

Swiers continues as head of the food and drink sector, managing distressed M&A and refinancing initiatives.

Additionally, Balsom has led the development of the firm’s new borrower business review offering, utilising two decades of experience across the banking and TMT sectors to support the firm’s restructuring mandates.

The record round also included the advancement of over 170 other colleagues across various grades, strengthening the firm’s operational capacity as it enters its next phase of global growth.

Mark Raddan, chief executive of Interpath, said: “We’ve had our most successful year to date, and it’s right that we recognise the efforts of our people who have made it possible.

“This promotion round reflects the depth of talent across our firm and our commitment to investing in our people, with a proportion of colleagues progressing this year. The promotions are a sign of our maturity and success that our future leaders are growing from within. This is a group with the skill and potential to deliver on our strategy and help drive the next phase of our growth.”
