Clive Owen LLP has appointed Chris Tindle as accounts and business advisory partner in its Durham and Newcastle offices.
The Northern accountancy, business and tax advisory firm said Tindle is an expert in supporting owner-managed businesses across various sectors and is driven to help clients measurably enhance their operations.
After starting as an trainee accountant at an independent firm, where he eventually became practice development manager, Tindle spent six years as a partner at a Durham-based company.
In 2023, he was made auditor and accounts director at Clive Owen, where the firm said he has been key to expanding its non-audit service lines.
Tindle said: “I am incredibly proud to be joining the partnership at Clive Owen LLP at such an exciting time and period of strong growth.
“I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at the firm these last three years, and I am excited to play a key role in expanding our presence in Durham and Newcastle, supporting our clients and contributing to the firm’s long-term success.”
Simon Hook, managing partner, added: “The firm is strongly positioned for continued growth, and Chris’ well-deserved promotion marks another important step in strengthening our leadership team. His experience, client-focused approach and knowledge of the regional market will be key to driving our ambitions forward.
“Our recent senior appointments and promotions are a clear reflection of our commitment to investing in our people and developing our future leaders, ensuring Clive Owen LLP continues to evolve as a leading independent accountancy firm across the North of England.”
