PKF Francis Clark has risen to sixth place on the UK’s Best Large Workplaces rankings for 2026, ranking as the highest accountancy firm.
The South and South West-based accountancy firm has made it on the list for the last four years, increasing its standing each time.
The ranking of the UK’s leading employers, put together by workplace culture specialists Great Place to Work, is drawn from confidential feedback provided by hundreds of thousands of employees nationwide.
Anonymous questionnaire responses from PKF Francis Clark’s employees expressed a robust sense of belonging and a supportive workplace culture.
The survey additionally mentioned flexibility, approachable leadership and investment in professional development.
91% of respondents said PKF Francis Clark is a great place to work, while the average UK company scored 54%.
The firm was also named on specialist lists compiled by Great Place to Work, including the UK’s Best Workplaces for Women, Wellbeing and Development and in Consulting and Professional Services.
Amy Taylor, chief people officer at PKF Francis Clark, said: “To reach sixth place among the UK’s Best Large Workplaces is an outstanding achievement and one that reflects the contribution people at all levels make to our culture. That’s why the colleagues who represented us at the Best Workplaces Awards were all nominated by their peers for making a positive impact.
“We’re continually listening to feedback and creating opportunities for our people to develop and thrive. What makes this recognition so meaningful is that it comes directly from our colleagues’ experiences – and seeing us climb the rankings again shows we’re moving in the right direction. I’m proud of our teams for creating a supportive environment where everyone feels they can belong, be themselves and achieve their career ambitions.”
Benedict Gautrey, managing director of Great Place to Work UK, added: “Year after year, it’s truly inspiring to witness a growing number of organisations earn a spot on our UK’s Best Workplaces List. We’ve seen an increase yet again in Trust Index scores, which means the bar has been raised and this accreditation is a significant and tremendous accomplishment.
“The UK’s Best Workplaces excel in creating consistently great experiences for all employees through fostering high levels of trust, pride and camaraderie to fuel increased organisational performance. These crucial elements collectively contribute to creating cultures where employees feel they can truly be themselves and thrive in a supportive and caring environment.”
