Azets has moved to a new building in Newbury, after its previous premises were designated for residential development.

The accountancy firm will now be based out of the town’s Oxford House on Oxford Street, not far from its former Elizabeth House offices.

Oxford House, situated near West Berkshire Council Offices, Newbury Library and Waitrose is part of the Regus group, the world’s largest provider of flexible workspace solutions.

The firm said its relocation followed a thorough search carried out by Stephen Pannell property consultants Director Group.

From its Newbury offices, Azets offers business advisory services to various types of SMEs, from sole traders to limited companies.

Its team of professional and chartered accountants additionally support day-to-day accounting and tax requirements.

Neil Elsden, office managing partner for Azets in Newbury, said: “It was essential we remained in Newbury to meet the needs of our valued clients and Oxford House was the best.possible place to continue offering our client focused service.

“The only thing that has changed is the address – our phone number and all other means of communication remain the same, but we now operate from a purpose-built, business environment.”

Added: “It’s an exciting time for us as the new office gives us access to excellent facilities such as meeting, training and interview rooms, as well as event, collaboration and breakout spaces which will allow us to consolidate and grow.”
