Accountancy firm Simmons Gainsford, part of Sumer Group, has appointed Kate Greenhough as corporate tax partner.
Greenhough joins from Gravita, where she previously held the role of corporate tax partner and service line lead.
Greenhough specialises in research and development (R&D) tax relief. She began her career at a top 50 firm before joining an R&D specialist in 2015, where she assisted owner-managed businesses and audited groups with tax relief claims.
In her new role, Greenhough will focus on delivering tax advisory services to small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and entrepreneurial businesses. Her experience includes managing large corporate groups and mentoring technical teams.
