Simmons Gainsford has announced the acquisition of Defries Weiss, a well-established accountancy practice based in Golders Green, North London.

Defries Weiss, led by their founder partners Gerry Defries and Warren Weiss, has a team of seven based in the UK, supported by an additional four professionals in an outsourced facility in India.

Initially, Defries Weiss will continue to operate from its existing Golders Green offices before transitioning to Simmons Gainsford’s London headquarters in Cavendish Square over the next three months.

Simmons Gainsford is a multidisciplinary firm of chartered accountants and business advisers based in Central London, with additional offices in Sussex and Gibraltar. With the support of the Sumer Group, Simmons Gainsford embarked on an ambitious growth
journey in 2023.
