Ballards has welcomed 10 new graduates as part of its 2025 intake, the largest in the firm’s history. The new cohort marks another milestone in Ballards’ commitment to nurturing the next generation of accountants and business advisers.
The recruits have joined teams across business services, audit, corporate and tax, working from the firm’s offices in Droitwich, Worcester and Birmingham. The expansion of the Birmingham base forms part of Ballards’ wider growth strategy in the region.
The Ballards graduate programme runs for three years and provides training towards Chartered Accountant status. It includes mentoring and placements across a range of sectors and client types.
James Syree, CEO at Ballards, said: “Each year, our graduates bring new ideas, energy, and enthusiasm to the firm. We’re proud to invest in their development and see the value they add to our teams. Supporting talent from the very start of their careers is central to Ballards’ long-term success.”
Lauren Townsend, talent acquisition executive at Ballards, added: “Our 2025 intake is our biggest yet, and we’re thrilled to welcome such a talented group. It’s a privilege to help them launch their careers and see how they’ll grow and contribute to Ballards’ future.”
Trish Capewell, HR manager at Ballards, concluded: “We’re already looking ahead to our 2026 intake, meeting students at graduate fairs and showcasing the opportunities within our Tax, Corporate, Audit, and Business Services teams. Developing our people into future leaders remains a key priority for Ballards.”
