ICAEW has today announced three key appointments to its senior leadership team as part of a reshaped C-suite to take forward its new strategy, Direction 2030.

Louise Coleman has been appointed chief membership officer effective from 19 November 2025. In this role, she will lead the development and implementation of the Institute’s global membership strategy. This includes developing the member value proposition and enhancing the member experience from admission through to life membership to increase engagement and satisfaction.

Coleman has more than 20 years’ experience across the financial, legal and media sectors. Most recently, she served as global head of Customer Success and Service Delivery at Fitch Solutions where she played a pivotal role in shaping the company’s global client engagement strategy and leading the development of the customer success function.

ICAEW has also named Dana Day as chief learning officer. She will join the Institute on 5 January 2026 and lead lifelong learning provision for students and members. This includes the ongoing development of the ACA qualification, pathways to membership, CPD opportunities and new qualifications.

Day brings 25 years of experience from the education and financial sectors. She is currently managing director, Global Partnerships and Business Development at CFA Institute, the global association of investment professionals.

Meanwhile, Laetitia Rennie has been appointed chief brand and marketing officer effective from 5 January 2026. She will lead ICAEW’s brand and marketing strategy to further drive student and member engagement, retention and growth.

Rennie joins ICAEW from London Business School, where she served as chief marketing and creative officer, leading the School’s global brand strategy and creative direction.

All three roles will report directly to ICAEW chief executive, Alan Vallance and form part of a strengthened C-suite team based around nine pillars.

Vallance said: “I am delighted to welcome Louise, Dana and Laetitia to ICAEW and congratulate them on their appointments. I look forward to working with them as we take forward our ambitious new strategy and reshape our operations for long term success. Their collective expertise and fresh energy will be invaluable as we seek to strengthen our membership offer, further develop our learning proposition and enhance our global brand.”
