Armstrong Watson has made three senior appointments across its tax team, with the addition of Clare Lancaster, Jane Greenwood and David Rome.
Lancaster has been appointed to director in the Private Client Tax team in Glasgow. Having previously worked for Dains, Azets and Big Four firms KPMG and Deloitte, she has more than 18 years’ experience supporting private clients and owner-managed businesses in areas such as Capital Gains Tax, Inheritance Tax, and succession planning.
Meanwhile, Greenwood joins as a Tax senior manager in Northallerton, bringing more than 30 years’ experience spanning the full spectrum of private client tax matters. She is also a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners and holds the Advanced Diploma in international taxation.
Finally, Rome, who joined the firm from Johnstone Carmichael in Edinburgh, has been appointed as Tax senior manager in the Corporate Tax team in Carlisle. A Chartered Tax Adviser and Chartered Accountant with 10 years’ experience, he advises businesses on complex corporate tax matters, including corporate debt and restructuring.
