Newcastle-based advisory firm UNW has expanded its corporate finance practice with the appointment of Stephen Twaddle as senior manager in its due diligence team.
Twaddle joins from Deloitte, where he spent eight years, beginning his career in audit before qualifying as a chartered accountant and progressing to senior manager in the firm’s transaction services division.
He has advised on a range of buy-side and sell-side deals, refinancing projects and cross-sector transactions.
At UNW, Twaddle will support clients on acquisitions and disposals. UNW’s due diligence team has completed 14 projects so far in 2025 across the industrials, technology, media and telecoms, business services and energy sectors.
Deal values have ranged from £1m to £30m, with a combined total value exceeding £115m.
